Alpa was a Swiss camera and lens manufacturer known for high-quality, precision-engineered products. Founded in 1918, Alpa produced cameras and lenses until 1990. Their lenses were known for excellent optical quality and were often used with their own camera systems. Today, the Alpa name continues on high-end medium format cameras, though they don't manufacture lenses themselves.
