Asahi

Asahi Optical Co., later known as Pentax, was a major Japanese camera and lens manufacturer. They produced high-quality lenses under the Takumar brand name before switching to the Pentax brand. Asahi/Pentax lenses were known for their excellent build quality and optical performance, and many vintage Takumar lenses are still highly regarded by photographers today.
