Canon EOS M5

The lens that will live on your Canon EOS-M camera. Good: Small, light, compact, very sharp photos. Image stabilization works well. Lens retracts to make a very compact package. Not so Good: Lens retracts and you need to unlock and extend prior to use. Process is fiddily and takes more time than I would like. This lens is slow at f/3.5 to 6.3. I would like to have a lens in this zoom range and weight that was faster to get ready to shoot with a much faster f-stop. But the laws of physics have intervened. This lens and my Canon M5 is a light package that will be taken out of the bag much more often.

Lens not compatible. I bouught this product for my EOS T7i, but the lens was not compatible. I should by an adaptor for this since it´s for other camera models. I am not sure which kind of adapter I would need, so I haven´t tried the product yet. The shipping to Argentina lasted more than a month.

Affordable and practical This is a interesting lens, is small, light, have a filter diamter of 49mm, wich is good, is cheap and delivers a descent image quality, if you can found one for a low price is a good deal, what is not so good in this lens is the construction quiality, is cheap, plastic mount, plastic body, if you compare this with the others EF-M lenses you noticed the huge diference, I cant see as a hard duty lens, but for the price it is ok,
