Vintage, not outdated Excellent vintage lens. This lens easily competes with most modern optics in the 180-200mm range at this aperture. The quality of these Zeiss optics is really timeless and if you don't mind manual focus, they make a great low-cost choice for digital photography.

Really pleased with this lens, recommend! Fitted lens to Lumix GX9. pictures are crisp and the lens has good Bokeh at small f stops. Camera had to be set to manual and remembering to focus, was my problem not the lens's :-) Finding it a most useful lens.
