Mitakon 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5 MC Zoom

Exquisite This is a manual focus, crop-sensor lens (Zhongyi 35mm Speedmaster f/0.95) that comes in mounts for Fuji, Sony, and Canon. Maybe ZYOptics will make it in Nikon Z someday. Mine is for Fuji (X-T2), and it's absolutely wonderful. Works great with focus peaking. As with my other Speedmaster lens - the 85mm - this one is built for fast shooting. It's amazingly sharp wide open with absolutely beautiful bokeh and saturation. The only drawback is the distortion, which you'll notice in certain types of shots like landscapes and buildings. I consider this lens a bargain for what you get.

nice great unique character in its rendering. reminds me a bit of the Nikon 58mm f/1.4 in look. Practice the manual focusing on your camera and it will get easier and easier to place the sharp zone where you want it - leaving those awesome transitions to out of focus zones... Glad I have the lens

Super sharp bokeh monster.. Love it This lens is a winner and produces amazing results with exceptional smooth background blur. It takes some practice to get it right though. The depth of field is very shallow wide open which produces only a thin slice of in focus area... Also remember this lens requires extra skill as it is manual focus only which may deter some. For myself this lens has many uses and I’m using it a lot with great results.
