New Samsung 50-200mm lens= sharp photos A bit larger than I expected; but great results. Need a 52mm filter, the 58mm fitters I bought for the 50mm lens that comes with the camera will not fit. Good product, very sharp results; use ISO of 400 for little if any noise and fast enough for my purposes. The question above about durability I can't address as I have owned it for just a few weeks. Good versatile lens I'm far from being a professional and have little understanding of photography. I have the 20-50 kit and the 16mm prime. I really like the 50-200 for sports photos of the kids, pool photos, motocross and situations the require distance. It takes really nice pictures and is very smooth. It is big though and somewhat bulky not for close quarters or walking with camera in hand for long time periods. Overall I recommend it but if you can afford the 18-200 it might be a more versatile option.
its a telephoto lens This is essentially a must have for samsung NX camera. Its got a great clarity and phenominal auto focus if youre into that ( i use manual most of the time). It feels sturdy and though its not got weather seals it feels like i could take it anywhere.
