Sigma DG S 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 OS HSM

A decent lens, but not a great lens at the price point. I wouldn't buy another one. I find the lens to be lacking in sharpness, especially at the zoomed out range. I've tried it on a couple of different cameras and have gotten the same results. I would give it a 5 out of a 10 on sharpness. It is a well constructed lens, feels very well built, I like the built on tripod mount, doubles as a carrying handle when attached to a camera. It might be better for sporting events, I have been using it for bird photography so far, like I said, a little disappointed with the lack of sharpness I'm getting. Surprising based on reviews I read prior to buying.

Jack of all trades This lens can do just about everything you could need it too, it's softest at 60mm and sharpest around 400mm; I used this on a Lumix S1 while I had a 500mm f/4 on a Nikon D4 and D500 and the 60-600 was just as good, minus the difference in light transmission. I've also used the F mount version on a Nikon D810 which had a flawed sensor and was still thoroughly satisfied. The 10x zoom range is far better in practice than it is in theory, the versatility of this lens is truly unrivaled. Worth every penny.
