Carl Zeiss Biogon T 35mm f/2 ZM

Best sharp lens for Leica! This zeiss lens is incredibly sharp..competes well against the Leica equivalent and comes in a third of the price cheaper. Such a good buy. The only thing I notice is the lens being a little larger then the Leica cron.

Totally worth it! Totally worth the cost. Pictures are sharp with great color and detail. Excellent contrast and no noticeable distortion. Build quality is outstanding and the aperture and focus controls operate smoothly and precisely. Zeiss lenses are a long-term investment in your equipment, and one that is designed to produce top quality results and to last for many years. Highly recommended.

Excellent Lens Zeiss ZM lenses are a great value for the money and create wonderful images. With 3 clicks per stop (as opposed to two), you also have a range of exposure control choices Leica's own (older) lenses do not offer. Zeiss lenses have a look and consistency between each other that few match. If you like the Zeiss look, you'll love this lens.
