Konica M-Hexanon 50mm f/2

M-Hexanon 50mm F2 This is a superb lens. If you shoot Leica, Zeiss Ikon ZM, Voigtlander Bessa R-series or Hexar RF camera - this is a great lens to have. It has very similar handling as latest Leica Summicron 50mm F2 lens as well as optics that are as good or even better. Having tried many lenses, this is my favorite for Leica M-mount type camera. It's very well built too. And the kicker - this lens can often be found a lot cheaper than Summicron. I really don't understand why people chose to go with Summicron at a higher price as Hexanon is at least as good, plus has better flare control. All-in-all - best bang for your money without ANY compromise in built and optical quality. Try it for yourself!

Excellent Quality on My Leica Very sharp lens. The focus ring is incredibly easy to use--the best of all the M-compatible lens options, as far as I'm concerned. Excellent depth, with solid bokeh. Compared to the cost of a Leica lens, I don't see why you wouldn't opt for the Konica Hexanon instead. The results on my Leica M-E are outstanding.

Great Japanese Glass, wonderful for photography, cinematography, all your i I use this and other Hexanon Konishiroku lenses on my Bolex H16 reflex motion picture camera for their outstanding picture quality, and great low light photographic imaging.
