Practical, all-around zoom lens for Leica and other cameras Very practical lens, because it covers the most frequently used focal lengths. I like mine, which has a nice, dampened zom ring and focusing wheel. This lens uses a 60mm filter, which can be hard to find unless it's from Heliopan. Other than that, excellent and handy zoom.

I was Very Good !!!!!! This is One Great Lens!!!!!!! At a Great Price. I bought this lens to go on my Lica Camera body that I bought for $51 dollars because the light metter does not work. If you know about film and lighting you do not need a working light meter in your camera. The lens fit right on and it is Cristal clear, and works Great with my Lica. Thanks !!!!!!!

Like a Tank This baby is built like a Panther Tank. It's heavy, it's big, it's sharp as a tack from 28 all the way up, fantastic bokeh if you're into that plus DOF from now to now turned up. I've dropped it (with caps on) 2x onto cement sidewalks and 400 meter clay tracks over the years and she's been manhandled, shaken, unscrewed and tossed around by East German, Turkish, Saudi, Nigerian, Hungarian, Romanian and Thai Border Guards and baby still works just fine. I'd say it's one of the best "walking around the city" lenses ever made.
