Reviews
Lensbaby lenses are amazing lenses. Lensbaby lenses are amazing lenses. They are so unique and sharp, with amazing quality.
A novel lens requiring patience to explore and learn The build quality is acceptable. The focus ring is sloppy and I am surprised that this manual focus lens isn't even 'chipped'. Both symptomatic of a cheap lens. I am still playing with the lens and have captured some good and interesting frames and a few stinkers. With patience I'm confident it will be a useful addition to my flower photography.
Worth the time to learn. All Lensbaby lenses have a learning curve, but if you take the time they are worth it. You can get some very sharp pictures, and the effects they produce are exceptional. The velvet 56 and 85 are two of my go to lenses, and are always in my camera bag.
