It isn't a well corrected modern lens, doesn't have floating elements (soft near minimum focus distance) and AF is rather leisurely by modern standards However, the character adds to it and many of my favorite images over the years have been shot with it which is why I bought it again having sold mine a few years ago! Well packed and item is better condition than described! This is my 4th purchase and they always exceed expectations!

Very expensive lens with questionable sharpness Very expensive lens with questionable sharpness, not only it has nothing special it is heavy and bulky. It can easily be damaged if one is not careful, I have seen many disfigured ones just because the lens cap was forced into the barrel. As to its intended purpose...it is used rarely for that purpose, I do not see any reason to buy this lens other than curiosity. No wonder many sell it soon after purchase.

A very special lens This item came in original box which was well packed. You need to "fine tune" to the camera for the best results. Once tuned-in the output is stunning.
