    Excellent lens Great lens all-round for TRIPOD macro photography. This is why I wanted this lens, and it competed with much more expensive lenses easily in regards to image quality. It does NOT have image stabilization, so it is not useful for many photographers. It is no motors in it, but works well on a 7D camera. Old-school manual adjust, and image preview on the camera isn't great (because it hasn't any motors in it). Not a beginners lens. This lens is for macro photographers who use a tripod more often than not.
