Great lens I am Sony shooter and pro photographer for over 15 years. This lens is awesome for the price, offering amazing image quality, full AF functionality, amazingly light weight, super portable. The AF is fairly fast. On A7R2 performs great. The build quality is not fantastic but it has a metal mount and it's made out of a combination of plastic and aluminum. The IQ is pretty much on par with the Zeiss. For the money you pay this is a great lens to have!! I would've rated 5 stars if the build quality was a little better. wwwchrisneacsucom

Best 35mm lens for the money I thought this lens would be too much of a compromise given its size and price, but it turns out to be my favorite lens. The combination of this lens and the Sony A7 is perfect for hiking. It is so small and light, I can carry it around all day. I haven't read any technical reviews of the lens, but it feels very sharp in the center and a little softer at the edges. I included a few photos from my hikes.
