    Not so great. 2.0/5

Not so great. I bought this to shoot real estate images. There’s lots of distortion to this lens, even when it’s leveled on tripod head. Photoshop tries to correct distortion, but still the vertical lines are always skewed. It’s a poor lens overall. Buyer beware.

    Budget 35mm with great versitility4.0/5

Budget 35mm with great versitility As a full-frame DSLR user, this lens fits a need for daytime street photography when I want to go "light". It is also excellent when I want edge to edge sharpness for large groups, and does a better job that my professional 24-70 lens for this purpose. As it is a manual lens I I prefer my VR lenses for action shots, but if I have the time to focus, or set the lens at f8 or above, and focus at hyper-focal distance, then I can shoot without having to worry about focusing. It is not, however, a lens for low light conditions, as it can be soft when used wide-open.

    28mm f2.8 lens5.0/5

28mm f2.8 lens I bought this to use on my Nikon D-7100. I prefer to use vintage prime lenses, as their images are almost always as good as or better than modern lenses. The 28mm f2.8 produces a great image, especially at f11. The lens is a mild wide angle when used on a camera with a DX sensor. The lens is compact and easy to use. This is well worth the investment.
