"High quality glass on a budget or not" To all those proud owners of a Canon, Nikon and other quality camera, buy a Takumar lens and an adapter for your brand and take some photos with one of these 55mm or 50mm lenses. For about $20.00 to 70 bucks you are gonna get a great lens. I think it would be tough to get anything of this quality manufactured today for under a hundred bucks, and it is fun shooting in manual mode. Give one a try! If you lose interest in it list it on ebay and it will sell.
