Reviews
Great lens I bought this so I wouldn't have to carry 2 lenses all the time. 18mm to 270mm covers just about any situation I'll find myself in. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I've been averaging 150 to 200 shots a day with it on my Sony A57. The autofocus is exact even though it takes a little longer to focus than my old Minolta lenses. I can live with that. The images are sharp and clear. I really like this lens and recommend it highly.
Nice travel lens I bought this for traveling western US states. Didn't want to change lenses when hiking. Very versatile and smooth operation. I especially like the lock to keep it from extending when hanging down. Decent pictures for the price.
Just perfect for beginners or hobby. As a low cost lens it is great. For general use it is perfect. Comparing to similar ones and even more expensive ones, it is quite the same or even better. PROS - image quality, price, size CONS - slow focus engine
