My favorite Lens Excellent performance at all settings. I've enjoyed using it for awhile and everything works as it should. Today I attached it to 3 piece series of extension tubes on my 40D to take photos of an orchid. As it works great at the normal setting, I was able to get even greater magnification with the extension tubes. This is now my favorite lens of all time, and I will recommend it to anyone. I'm happy with this seller, as this was one of the best buys I've ever done in the past 10 years on eBay.
An older lense that still works well This is a discontinued lens designed for a 35mm film camera. However, it works well with my D7100. Auto focus is a little slow but then again it was first introduced in 1996. The focus is sharp & works well for stills & landscape. For the money you can't beat this lens.
it defenetly needs trypot support photos are clear and sharp I am happy that i have it I ahave Nikon standart come as a set but I think Tamron is easyar to focus thats make then faster to work with
