A lot of value and quality for the money I had been looking at the Canon 16-35mm F2.8 III for a while after seeing what my assistants have captured in close areas. The price was just nto something I wanted to deal with. I then found the Tokina Opera 16-28mm F2.8 option and was thrilled, but skeptical about the quality and build for less than half the price of the Canon. Wow! This lens is sharp, build is solis, auto focus is even spot on. I have used it for 4 photo shoots already on my Canon 5DMIV and my SONY A7iii (with MC-11 adaptor) and the lens works perfect on both.
