Save Money - Don't Buy Brand-name This lens works wonderfully! My photo professor even said it works great. The fact that I was able to get this lens and a cleaning tool for under $50 is amazing. The same lens for Canon is at least $100. Just take note, when you're buying filters or attachments, it is 52mm, not 58mm. :) You can always get a step up adapter if you need it.
Yongnuo 50mm f1.8 This was my first prime lens. As a photography major I was required to purchase a DSLR. Being cheap I had a Fujifilm camera that was like a DSLR. After purchasing my rebel t5 I was amazed by the kit lens performance. Being limited in low light I decided to.invest in something that gets a better aperature. The best lenses were low f stops. This probably one of the cheapest high ranked 1.8 aperature lenses. The quality of a new 50 dollar lens is a cheaper feel than the cannon but the quality it produces matches in comparison. The bokeh effect is more appealing in most conditions especially under led. 5-star product at a fraction of the cannon oem.
