Zeiss Loxia Biogon T 35mm f/2

Buttery Smooth Action Pros: This Zeiss Biogon T 35mm F/2 is just what I was looking for. Light weight, non obtrusive to subjects, sharp as a tack, has the color rendition of my Leica 35mm -70mm, simple to use and the communication to my Sony A7M2 was exactly as reported by professionals. It pulls in the subject to manually adjust the focus, and I also pre-set a button to further increase the image. No distortion when enlarging the subject, pre shot. This will be my everyday walk around camera and it can use it for landscapes and close-ups as well. Great buy for anyone! I also own a Zeiss Batis 25mm F/2 as well as other manufacturers and lens sizes. Cons: None what so ever.

Excellent Manual Focus 35mm F2 Prime Lens This is the real deal at a reasonable price. The Zeiss Loxia lenses are built very solidly and the glass has the new "T" coatings, the same coatings at the Master Prime lenses have. I find the lens to be very sharp and contrasty. Of course it is a manual focus lens so you have to be proficient enough to work that way. I think that short of an Otus or Leica M lens, this is about as good as you will get with a manual focus lens.

Best Everyday Manual Focus Lens Sharp, quality, compact...the Loxia 35mm is the perfect manual focus walk-about lens. Every time i pick it up I'm impressed with the build quality and compact size. It's my go to lens.
