Reviews
Great lens at a good price This is the 3rd Tamron lens in my bag. I enjoy their durable construction and smooth focus. OK they do weigh a lot, but the QUALITY of the metal constuction is worth it. The autofocus is fast and accurate. There is vignetting below 15 mm with the supplied lens hood, but without it, none occurs all the way down to 11 mm. I bought the lens to follow the remodeling of my house. I have noticed very little distortion in the low range. The lens responds OK to low light levels, but at this price, I will accept the trade-off.
Quality Wide Angle at an affordable price! I bought this Tamron lens for taking pictures of landscapes and architecture. I paid a little over 300.00 dollars for it and it was money well spent. There is very little distortion and it takes super sharp pictures on my D90. A good lens for the money. Highly recommended for landscape and architecture pictures.
