Reviews
A great classic Nikon prime lens! This lens is one of the great lenses in Nikon's AIS family of prime lenses. It has great image quality, smooth operation and great low light performance. It is a little bigger in size than the 50mm and 24mm AIS lenses that I own but it is a great all around lens for Nikon manual film cameras.
Not the sharpest lens Nikon has made The angle of covrage and what it does is absolutly amasing but I got very disappointed when I zoomed in to the image it is too soft for a architectural lens. I happen to own four other lenses made by Nikon 24, 28, 45 and 85 mm PC lenses they are all sharp this one is unusably soft.
it's like an artist's brush... Silky smooth and precise focusing....if you shoot film with manual focus cameras...this will make you smile...it's so nice to use!
