Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro HSM
Optical design
Thanks to the macro capabilities this lens can make tiny things look big. Full frame equivalent focal length is 27.0-375.0 mm. It is a ring-type ultrasonic motor designed to provide quick and silent focusing. Has 7 aperture blades, mid-grade lenses usually have this amount of blades. Having rounded blades provides out of focus circle shape closer to a circle. Great choice mainly for good light conditionsPhysical characteristics

Reviews
Sigma 18-250 lens This lens has a great range and it is very quiet. This is important when taking video.
Comparable to Sony 18-250mm Well worth the savings, compared to Sony, just a tad less sharp, at the 250MM end, compared to the Sony.
Great lens! It's like 3 in 1 performance. This lens does the job of three! Making my case a lot lighter. Great item for the price, wish I bought it sooner.
